Jon Smedley, DPM, FACFAS

Jon Smedley, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist at Precision Podiatry, with three locations, in Round Rock, Cedar Park, and the River Place neighborhoods of Austin, Texas. 

After graduating from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Smedley earned his medical degree from the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio, where he served as student director of clinical affairs. Dr. Smedley then completed his residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Akron General Medical Center, where he became the chief resident during his second year.

Currently, Dr. Smedley also sees patients at Cedar Park Regional Medical Wound Care Center, where he serves as the medical director. He also lectures regularly and is considered an expert in evaluating and treating wounds that have difficulty healing. Dr. Smedley brings his vast knowledge and adept skillset to Precision Podiatry. 

Dr. Smedley has received extensive training in various reconstructive procedures. Whether the patient requires minimally invasive or complex surgery, Dr. Smedley is prepared to help patients achieve and maintain excellent podiatric health. He is particularly skilled at reconstructing flat feet, performing bunion surgery, and performing ankle arthroscopy.
