About Dr. Ryan Shock

Ryan Shock, DPM, is a highly experienced, board-certified podiatrist at Precision Podiatry, with three locations in the River Park neighborhoods of Austin, Texas. Dr. Shock has received extensive training from various leading specialists in the fields of orthopedics and podiatry. His wealth of experience is vital in assisting his patients at Precision Podiatry.

Dr. Shock earned his medical degree at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, Illinois. While in Chicago, he also studied arthroscopy of the foot and ankle at the Orthopedic Learning Center. He furthered his skills by completing a fellowship in foot and ankle reconstruction at Harborview Medical Center’s Sigvard T. Hansen Foot and Ankle Institute in Seattle, Washington. Additionally, Dr. Shock received microsurgery training at the MOET Institute in San Francisco, California, as well as training in external fixation of the foot and ankle at the Russian Ilizarov Scientific Center for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopaedics in Kurgan, Russia.
